2001 ACHA All-Tournament Team 4/5/01

Roseann Meyer named to the ACHA All-Tournament Team (Defense). Roseann Meyer opened the teams' scoring against Maryland and dominated the ice with her outstanding performance. "Roseann had an excellent tournament. She controlled a lot of the game and created a lot of scoring opportunities for us. Every time she was on the ice we controlled the puck. She really shut down our opponents. Her and Annie Chamberlain worked the puck well together this weekend. I am very happy for Roseann, she has earned this honor !" - uschan.

Jen Starbuck earns All-Tournament Honorable Mention (Forward). Jen scored twice in the opening game against Maryland and had two assists on the weekend. "By far the best hockey I have seen Jen play all season. She had a lot of desire to win this weekend and it showed in her play. She was extremely aggressive in offensive zone. She worked the puck well to linemates Kelly Vruwink and Abbey Olson. I look forward for her to continue this great play next season."-uschan.

* These awards were collectively nominated by the coaches and the ACHA staff. ACHA staff then determined the team. Awards were not solely based upon points, rather that players contribution to their team. Attitude, work ethic, aggression, and overall skill were also factors in the naming of the team.
